Title: domain name
Post by: pjotr on February 10, 2010, 02:25:39 PM
Hi every one. first i would like to say thanks for the awome stuff over here.
second. when i'm referring to ip-addesses i wil use for example local addresses and ports.

i have set up a HFS "server" with ip addres "192.168.200.40" and port "5000".
the settings are correct with HFS and i can acces my server from my friends place.
i'd also set up an account with dyndns and that's working also.
my dyndns url is http://*****.dyndns.***:5000/
i want to make and domain name without the port number included.

what i want is to have for example http://www.pjotr.tk
how can i do this?

you should use port "80".
being this the default port, there's no need to specify it.
