also crashing with stable release.....
any sugguestions? does it with any sized files.....
PS3MediaServer works fine, so i'm pretty sure it's a HFS issue..... or at least something i've done to/with HFS......

Sending a file to a particular device shouldn't cause a problem? Works with my PS3 and PSP no problems.
-
i think it's streaming in general....
when streaming, as i am right now...... the ps3 is connecting, downloading a chunk, and disconnecting every second....
i've just had another hfs crash, with half a dozen popup errors of 'access violation'....
i would have thought there should only be one connection should be and remain open for the duration of the stream......
-
streaming is not like connecting and disconnecting furiously :)
your problem may be an outdated version of the cited dll file.
i just had a look at the same file on my system, and version reported is 5.30.23.1230
i would give it to you (http://www.sendspace.com/file/6gpx13), but this often leads to compatibility problems due to having different system languages (mine is italian).

Thanks, have a look at the attached screenshot...
should that not be happening? :o ???
ps - i have that same version of riched20.dll

mmm, i see you are using remote desktop connection.
does this ever happen when you are not acting remotely?

i couldn't tell you to be honest as there is no monitor etc with my server.....
i get errors whether or not i'm using remote desktop at the time, if that helps....?
-
could you please tell me how you come to tell the error happens while you are not "remoting" ?
-
the video stops working on the PS3....
so i'll hook up to the server remotely, which show the hfs.exe errors above.....

try unchecking "prevent leaching". It is under the limits menu.
Does it work now?
