Title: Just some curious on windows 2008 unicode system with HFS
Post by: letterboy on August 07, 2009, 04:22:52 AM
Suppose the windows vista or 2008 can easily read the Unicode folder & file structure in japanese and chinese.
Also, the IIS7.0 inside can read those file structure easily and the unicode inside is having fully downwards compatibility with many OS, so convenient.
Can HFS using the same unicode system with the win vista or win 2008?

What i feel is, if windows can read the file structure easily, HFS should be able to do it too.
Now seems missing this step? Or should we have a version that support only for vista and win 2008 to match the folder strcuture?
(XP can't read many unicode structure unless install some packages).

Just some suggestions , thanks for reading~ :P

it's not a problem with Windows,
it's the tool i use to build HFS that has poor unicode support.
newest version is better, but not free.

Thanks for reply , rejetto, :D you mean the widgets problem?(i have read the post before that you have mentioned.)
By the way, you can make a HFS "PAY" version for us if it supports unicode or more functions.....even i am willing to :P.

yes, the widgets.
thanks for suggesting, but at the moment i don't like the idea of a commercial version of HFS.
