Title: HFS for ms office programs

Hello,

I am woundering if(how) it is possible to open files via hfs using a ms office programm (eg word or excel). When typing a  http-file link to the open dialog window in excel it needs a lot of time until the sheet is opened write protected.

Or:
Is it possible to use HFS with ms office programs to handle http file links like usual local files?

as far as i can recall, microsoft uses webdav to open file remotely over http.
HFS doesn't support webdav at the moment, but it's in the to-do list.
