Title: Noob Question

Sorry,

I'm unfamiliar with Server software in general, so here's a really basic question... can I run this along side my other software on my PC or do I have to have a dedicated PC to run as a server?

Btw, I do have my own chat software, which has some rather unique features & I would be happy to donate a room on my chat server to support this software project assuming there is any iterest in that.

HFS does not need a dedicated server, it will play happily alongside your other software. Of course HFS will only work as long as the PC is running.

In terms of CPU consumption HFS can be considered "light" if there isnt 20+ people downloading at the same time :p, but it can achieve high broadband levels if the internet connection allows so.
