Title: Using DynDNS With HFS
Post by: jshollis on March 12, 2009, 03:01:18 PM
Under Menu, then IP Address I see my DynDNS account.  How can I make HFS choose this option all the time?  There are times when I see the http:169 or my external http://123.456.789:81.

Will it be necessary to add the port number as well?

yes.
to hide the port number is a feature that HFS cannot give.
the dyndns service can, and if you use then you must enable (in hfs) the option to hide the port.
if you use the latter alone, you are actually doing wrong.
