Title: get | A
Post by: r][m on February 15, 2009, 03:48:10 PM
get | A
Using simple macro {.if|{.get|can recur.}| {.!1 can recur Works.} /if.} to test

can archive, can delete, can upload, can recur (work when those permissions are set)
can recur works any where when "Enable recursive listings" is checked (expected)

is new, can access (don't work)

 {.if not|{.get|can access.}|   (works everywhere - not expected)

Do is new and can access require another parameter? Reading the wiki didn't indicate that.

Rejetto, what am I missing here?

can you make a true example?
1. what you do
2. what you get
3. what's different in what you expected

the default template uses "can access" successfully, so it seems to be working as expected.

is new :

menu >virtual filme system > flagfiles added recently >     put the value in minutes: 360

can access :   UNCHECK

menu >virtual filme system > list protected items only ....

restrict one folder access to some accounts excepted the current login, you must see a locked icon before the foldername on the web.

.......

can access/upload/delete are information only with the current folder, all other are same, but if you uses them into sections [file/folder/link], they give the ITEMS status.

Sorry to be so long to reply. I had a hardware failure, so I've been out of service.
My new computer should be here soon.
Thanks for your replies.
My testing was done on the default tpl.

Many thanks for the explanation. I'll re-test as soon as I get my server set up
again, now that I understand how these should work.
