Title: How to use individual index.html?

Question is in subject.
I read that it's simple to copy index.html in HFS directory but it is not work! Please, help me.

Add it to the vfs.  Right click / and then add file.

Adding index.html into VFS not help.
Right Click and (BROWSE IT) shows index.html but default HFS catalogue list is shown.

in properties of the root/home
search for default file mask
and put this:
index.htm*;default.htm*
