hi all
i have an upload folder and i was wondering how to limit the space which the upload folder utilizes to 10 GB probably... because now it uses the whole hard disk...

Switch to expert mode.
You can try - Menu -> Limits -> Minimum Disk Space.

sory but that doesn't help... :\
i don't want the space in the upload folder to be dependable of the hard disk space...
i just want it to be 10GB ... ain't there any way to limit the space...? :(

If you want to limit upload, you can use some macro (with beta version only)
and disollow upload when the total space used by the files in that folder goes towards your desired limit. This should work if the uploaded files are not expected to be very huge (max some hundred MBytes) each.

Why not just create a 10 GB partition on your hard drive specifically for upload use. ???

it's already in the to-do list
+ download/upload quota (global and account-based)
but don't ask when :)
