hi,

has anyone been able to get divx videos to work with web divx player.

i keep getting error 401

please help, using Terayon Theme v1.3.0 Beta 8

you can disable log menu -> only served requests
so you will see those 401 in the log, and have more information on what's going on

Also I have found that the latest divx webplayer does not work with password protected files. The older version had no problem with them. Just for a test try removing accounts on your divx files and try again ?

Once i disable login the movies play just fine in web divx player.

When i enable login put username and password again the movies don't play. Mp3 steam fine either way. But divx dont.

when i put password on i get the following error - The video cannot be reached (401 error) it appears the server is denying access to file. i'm assuming web player isn't using cookies to know i'm logged in i guess.

As for using old divx web player, i cannot find a older version, can someone link me to old version?


How can i fix issue to let it play divx with login.

this solution is working for now.

I've set login on the root home page.

Then i set each folder with divx files to allow anonymous access. This way videos play fine and does require login at first page.

yes you will need to modify a template that does not have divx support.


i'm using old template that has divx support.

also Anyone know why divx was removed from new templates?
