Post by: Hudifo on November 23, 2008, 12:13:48 AM
Hi, am new with hsf and i love it ,simply, no installation, thank u a lot.
i've one question how can i ban all ip adresses in the world except one my friend's ip?     u know his ip change frequently so i tried add his dyndns in my ban list like this:
\....dyndns.info  but i gave a massage , it doesn't seem work except by original ip,  58.258.259.25
please  how can i add dns in my list?

thanks

at the moment ban doesn't support dns names, sorry.

if you are crazy, you could
- make an external program periodically checking the address
- upon change, create a mini hfs.ini with only the ban rule
- call: hfs -a minihfs.ini
- that will integrate the new rule in current running hfs

but maybe you are not that crazy ;)
