Hi rejetto,
First of all i want to thank you for this great program ,really i loved it
and i told all my friends about it
But i want to ask about something ...
you wrote under the account manager .
Warning : Creating an account is NOT Enough to protect your files
I use the 2.2d(125)
what is the level of knowledge it need to break into my files without passing
with user and password ?
IS it very easy ?
The Second question is , how can i see an index.htm page instead of list of folders?
The third question is , what is the (MIME types)and how can i use it?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

welcome!
you wrote under the account manager .
Warning : Creating an account is NOT Enough to protect your files
I use the 2.2d(125)
it's because protection must be done on the virtual file system.
The Second question is , how can i see an index.htm page instead of list of folders?
it's by default!
you should manually change something to make appear the list instead of the index.htm
The third question is , what is the (MIME types)and how can i use it?
it's an information on the nature of the download.
most people don't need to change that setting.
you can go in details on wikipedia ;)

Thanks for your quick response
but i didn't make any manual settings to stop opening the index.htm
i just put a password on root to restrict access but when i pass i see a list of folders
even i tried a default.htm
but nothing has effect
And please explain what u said about the protection on virtual folders
thanks in advance

send me your vfs file to support@rejetto.com
and i'll tell you
i didn't say "virtual folders" but "virtual file system". it's on the left, in the hfs main window.

I just sent it ..
thanks alot ;)

i saw it.
it is working to me.
are you sure you have the file index.htm on your desktop?
please post a screenshot like this, where i can see the file properties of your index.htm

this is mine
this is the site i took the index from www.stmaryztn.org

ah, sorry, i just noticed that the index.* is used by default only since version 2.3
so in 2.2 you'll have to configure it yourself
right click on the home/root
advanced
default file mask
index.htm*
OK
