Ok, so I want to run HFS off of my webhost's server. But I'm confused about how I would be able to do that, as in get it actually running seeing as how most hosting services disallow .exe 's, let alone configure user access and such. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great!!!

you cannot run a normal program (meant as exe) on a webhost

I understand that. Is there anyway to make it work on a webhost server though? Like, any way what so ever? I'd be willing to pay. I would need it to be able to use templates though.

the way is: not a webhost, rent a server.
it costs more than a webhost.

You should ask hackers, cause running .exe's is not allowed on web hosts. What you are searching for is, as rejetto said, to rent a dedicated server where you can remote in and install applications (exe) like HFS.

ok, what would you guys suggest, as in, where would be a good place (in your opinions) to do that through???
Thanks
