Title: Security Vulnerabilities
Post by: drohr on October 20, 2008, 07:48:02 PM
My ISP blocks the use of port 80 and 21 BUT HFS FIleserver i can get the files i need like an ftp. Thanks!

Anyway ... i am concerned. There are Security Vulnerabilities that need to be addressed.

Are there any security updates? Are they being addressed? Does the BETA address this?

Thanks guys!

As you can read, it affects previous versions.
It states about 2.2b, while current official version is 2.2d
Also current beta available is not affected.

the beta is very good at this stage.
25% users are on the beta.
it will require some extra attention on your side, anyway.

2.3 beta is also on the product list.  Should we be concerned?

no, just because they forgot to specify the build number

Without forgetting the date of their security report, which must be former enough not to create us so many anxieties  :D
