Title: hidden files become visible after manually editing the url
Post by: SteveW on October 04, 2008, 09:36:58 PM
Maybe I have something set up wrongly here. If I send someone a url e.g. freddy@1299.com/hidden/picture.gif and the recipient then edits the url to freddy@1299.com/hidden/ in their browser they can then see the full hidden directory listing (even though it's set as hidden in HFS obviously. Is there some way I can stop that behaviour from happening ? HFS 2.3 build 203

Using your example, you are using a folder called hidden.  In HFS virtual file system, right click on the folder called hidden and select "Hide Tree".  Done!
