If your modem also has a configuration menu, then you need to forward the port in your modem to your router, not to your pc. You then have to configure your router to forward the port to your computer.

Modem => forward port 80 to Router
Router => forward port 80 to PC

How do you find out the IP address of your cable modem in this configuration?

And when you port forward the Cable Modem to your Router, What IP address do you use? - The external IP address or the Internal IP address?

Thanks!

you don't need the internal IP of your modem, just of the router and pc.

the external address HFS will find is the internet address of your modem (different from the internal one, if it exists), and it's the one you have to tell to friends.
