Hi there,
Somewhere after 2.2 stable it came that when opening the adress of my hfs with firefox the output ist somewhat garbled. On IE the output is correct. But I like firefox. What is to be done about that?
Greetings,
McConnor

That is rather odd, it may be a problem with Firefox itself(maybe some setting you changed) try reinstalling Firefox and see if the problem persistes. If you don't want to lose your settings in Firefox I suggest you download Portable Firefox(http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable (http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable)) that way you won't lose your current settings.

Try to remove the first line of the default template.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">That one.

i'm using the last 2.3 and last firefox.
no problem at all.
1. is there any "customized template" in the bottom bar of HFS window ?
2. what HFS build are you using?
3. what firefox version are you using?

Hello again,
Thanks MarkV, your suggestion solved the problem. I never edited the html template (I wouldnt even know how to) so that seems to be a remainder of an older version...

To stay up to dates with the default template you should leave it untouched, and use diff templates instead.
To use the default template, click edit, then restore, and OK.

Had the same problem McConnor had, Tried MarkV's suggestion and it worked...Thanks

i'm having the exact same problem
the moment i use a custom tem plate like thunderchicken or terayon, rawr...
the page will not load correctly
i tried from another computer on a different ISP and same problem
i tried it on my iphone 3g, another network same thing
simple workaround is to use the default template or something very watered down
those fancy templates, like rawr and thunder chicken may not be compatible anymore and over and over they dont load correctly.
if i hit the refresh button enough times it eventually loads proper.

no, its problem looks similar but it's very different.
he was just using HFS 2.2 while 2.3 was required.
