Title: Wierd problem with a Linksys WRT54G
Post by: TooL on February 08, 2008, 04:37:47 AM
I've got a friend of mine with a problem....

I have HFS working fine with Stunnel on my system... with a DGL-4300 router...  no issues.

I configured his the same way... except he has a Linksys WRT54G router...  Similar setup, different looking web interface...

He uses remote management on his router to control several IP cams and this seems to be causing a problem.  If we turn off remote management in his router and type in https://xxx.xxx.xxx:443 which is how HFS/Stunnel is configured HFS works fine.  The minute we enable remote management... if we type in https://xxx.xxx.xxx:443 the login screen for the router comes up....?   Wierd thing is the port for remote management is set to 220.

Any ideas?

hmm, I would try setting Stunnel/hfs to use a port besides 443 because the router may also have a secure web interface on that port. If that doesn't work, there is not anything else that I could think of suggesting to help.
