Title: Erratic Download Speed

I am getting the maximum potential speed and no errors or anything, but even if i'm sending only one file, the speed will jump up and down from 20kb to 500kb and back and forth very quickly.

Is this normal or is there any way for me to stabilize it?

Try using the latest beta build from the beta board, it has improved speed/bandwidth handling.

does this happen transfering in a LAN, in your country, or an intercontinental connection?
what exact version are you using?

I am using version 2.2c. It must have been my friends connection because I just tested it on another computer and it worked flawlessly.
