I'm not sure about the thumbnails, but the problem you are having is because you are not using the latest version of hfs.
Download build #163 (http://www.dovedove.it/hfs/hfs163.exe) from the beta board and it should all work fine.

No to PDF's, and upgrade your HFS.

thank you foggy this was the problem.. I had downloaded it 2 days ago so I thought I had the latest version...

I saw on a demo page that you could have flv and divx previews.. whith this template...

do you know how I can do that?

thanks again :)

by memory you had to uncomment the section [file.avi = file.divx] or something similar to that in the template.

Ye in ToG its a matter of fixing that, flv is not supported in either template at this time. It will eventually come.

{{section|sym-name}}  is the new macro to include at this place the section named [sym-name]

you can with sections [sym-...] using the hold syntax name %sym-name%

them %sym-header% and %sym-controlbar% work with old version of hfs, certenly yours

look at the http://www.rejetto/wiki to have more details about sections and their call
