Title: URL masking ?

                   Here is the dell I wont to brig my server online But
          I will not as long as it is my IP http://###.###.###.#/ bla bla you know lol

I'm using HFS with PS3Portal or HFS as PS3Portal.?.. "O" well

I played around with that IP address/custom thing a little

& I gave this site a good look through but I just can't find the answer I'm looking for

If there is some thing I'm overlooking . . . or if anyone knows how I can change http://MY-IP/Stuff to like http://ORGANs-file-server/Random-info-bla-bla-bla/

Any help in this will be vary appreciated :) any help ?

Yes, it is possible what you are looking for is Dynamic DNS or DDNS.

hfs has inbuilt support for 3 DDNS services which you can find under the Dynamic DNS Updater menu, You can register with one of them to get your own DNS name but it will be a sub domain and will be like xxxxxxxxxx.no-ip.net. With some you can choose what the sub domain is.
