Hi I just installed this program and it seems to be great but honestly I dont understand anything about it, Im not behind a firewall or using a router. At first it showed my local IP http://10.x.x.x I gave that link to a friend he couldnt connec to it, so I menu ip adress i set it to my external ip and gave that link still no luck.
Can soemone help me out what am I doing wrong?
i tried the self test and it was successful.

if your address begins with "10." then you ARE behind a router.
a router is not necessarily a box in your house, don't be fooled.
ask the person who manage your network for help.

If the self test worked, make sure you are giving them your external ip and not an internal one. if you must, goto a site such as whatismyip.com to find out what your external ip is and then try it. otherwise your router or port forwarding needs to be configured.
