Title: Hiding the external IP in the item URL?
Post by: guest on October 13, 2007, 10:55:36 AM
Hi, first I would like to thank rejetto for producing such a great software  :)
and here's my problem:
I've been using no-ip for DNS, enabling the "mask URL" function.
so my external ip is hidden (for brower URL)
but when I point to a file on the HFS page, the info bar on the bottom of the brower shows my external ip again....
can i change the links to dynamic IP as well?
Is it anything to do wif the template?
thanks in advance!

In hfs or on the web page created by hfs?

the web pages  ;)
that is, when u point to the file "abc.jpg", for example, on the bottom of the browser u will see "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/abc.jpg"...
i would like "http://myname.no-ip.org/abc.jpg" to be shown on the bottom instead.

which template are you using? The link should use whichever address you used to connect to hfs.

oh, it's my fault --- wrong settings in the no-ip profile
problem solved, thx a lot!
