Hi, I´m using HFS with a list of 50+ users and a lot of folders, but my system crasha couple of times and I can recover filesystem and user/pass list but I HAVE TO SE FOLDER PERMISSIONS FOR EACH USER/FOLDER and that my friends take like 6 hours. is there any way to save this too?

The folder permissions get saved in either the hfs.ini or the vfs file cant remember which one though. But i am certain that they get saved otherwise each time I open hfs Id be in a bit of trouble.

don't worry, we have the right feature for you, thought for unstable computers ;)
menu -> virtual file system -> auto save every...
last beta versions introduce a more stable saving system, just in case your computer crash WHILE hfs is saving, so it is adviced in your case.
i hope this feature will be available in official version soon.

Hi, Im kind of confused here, I save manually the file and on the registry the options, also have auto save every 60 sec and save the filesystem but any of this files has the permission for each folder, after I restore The folders with the files on the same path as before the crash also restore HFS with the filesystem file and the optios file and open fine and all the users with theyr password where listed, but all protected folders were unprotected so I have to create permissions for each folder again and takeme a while to do this.
May be I wasnt much clear before (sorry for my bad english:))
So is there any way to save the folder permissions somewhere or maybe Im missing something ???? Thanks in advance for your help.
