Title: Can't upload large files.
Post by: jabberwock on August 28, 2007, 04:32:59 AM
Hi,

I have no problems uploading numerous smaller files (<500 Mb) but when I try to upload a single file of 2.7 Gb, the upload just doesn't go through. HFS shows a very brief flicker of response and then nothing. It doesn't hang but the client machine's "Upload" button is greyed out.

ver 2.2a build 126

Can you please set Hfs to log disconnections and uploads.

Right Click On Log > Log What > Disconnections
Right Click On Log > Log What > Uploads

can you please post the contents of the log after you try to upload a file and also what internet browser are you using? Some have problems handling files that are so big.

You may be experiencing the limitation of the browser you are using.  Internet Explorer and Opera for example have a 2GB filesize limitation.  HFS has no limitation itself.
