i cant reproduce it.
but i wanna ask, do you set the folder to archivable? (doesnt matter in my case, both cant reproduce it) does it happen only for that folder or any folder? are u running hfs.exe and hfs.old.exe on the same time?

i just want to share here, previously when i use windowblind, i got an error message like this when i try to update dyndns. i believe that is because windowblind runs .dll file that incompatible with hfs which cause the prob. if u have some prog or process that running on last night but already stop, that might be the prob here.

Seeing that WindowBlinds create so much trouble for HFS, do you still run WB?

not anymore of course.

If I may ask, what replacement(s) have you found for WB?

nothing, i download new theme for window - royale theme (black taskbar) http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Royale-Theme-for-WinXP-Download-13027.html

and also use vistart, change start menu look and function like vista.
http://www.zshare.net/download/2813102d9b812f/
