The right click menu for folders is getting pretty convoluted. Would it be possible to break
option groups up into subgroups? Stuff like
Filters/Masks ->
Restrictions ->
Accessibility ->
-
I have to say i agree lol, not so bad for me, i have 1280x1024 resolution... but for the poor souls still on 1024 and lower... i think that menu would be very overwhelming... I mean in easy mode its fine... but in expert... maybe its time to organise them into subgroups, keeping the main options on the menu still of course.
-
Perhaps we should think of what subgroups and options we'd like to see in the menu? ..so that rejetto would not have to try and figure out them all by himself.
-
thank you kalle

Here's something I quickly compiled ...needs a bit more thinking though.
-
not bad
i would move "hide file extention in listing" in the "appearance"
-
Yes KalleB's quick menu there is a good start.
But i feel there could be confusion between, visibility and appearance. cause visibility is a property of appearance... Maybe merge appearance and visibility together... in the 'Appearance' sub menu.
-
I'm for that too.. Better to have one subgroup less..
-
For now i will introduce just one submenu "Advanced".
This problem will disappear in HFS 3 (it will put options in a window instead of a menu)
-
what is the contents of this advanced menu? ...
-
same as "filters & masks" by kalle
-
why not call it 'Filters and Masks' then :P
-
because it's not meant to be (in prospective) just for filters and masks
actually i also included diff template
-
That sounds great :) ...I'd also make that Copy URL a submenu like in my image. It's somewhat disturbing to have three "Copy URLs" one after another.

Agreed. Is this in 112? I haven't downloaded it cause i read of the hit counter being broken.
-
No it isn't..
-
i moved them in the "advanced" submenu
