Title: Feature request: simple markup language
Post by: dardarlt on May 29, 2007, 08:49:01 AM
I think a lot of us need simple language in HFS. it would be great featue to implement some tags like {if}, {switch} and so on. Even these two could make a great job! I know, that I can use Javascript, but Javascript is only client side, takes a lot of bandwith and has al lot of disadvantages...

I hope you understood what I am saying...

No, I do not.

As usual strong, hard and lapidary answer by TSG  ;D ;)

Indeed, the question posts in this way, it is not very clear

You may explain better what are your requests.  ???

Well he did ask if one of us understood what he was saying ;D, i replied accordingly.

It makes no sense at all,

what script language is that?

and what are you trying to achieve with it that can be done with javascript but would be too big for client side?

I know scripting languages are often useful for customization.

Can you tell me the goal you have in mind, using such language?
