Title: No response when banned ip keep on accessing HFS

I 'm using 2.1d 088
The server will hang in 2 situations :
- I banned an IP address but it keeps on accessing my server (probably using some kind of download agent)
- When the requested file is not present in my server but the client keeps on trying

HFS 2.1d 088 works fine when satisfying client's requests.
But it seems that it dunno how to reject requests! Instead of refusing, it chooses to hang! (die together!!!  :o )

Anyone have this problem? Can anyone offer an solution?

such situations works well for other users, so it's hard to understand where the problem is in your HFS.
try resetting your HFS configuration. you can achieve this by holding SHIFT while starting HFS.
...and see if the problem persists.
