Hello,
When I use Apache, the upload speed is my maximum, 64KB/s.
But with HFS, it jumps between 20 and 40 ...
What can be done?
Thanx.

HFS is Http? maybe thats why? but even i get max 180kb\s when people upload to me with insane upload speeds >_< When people download from me, its about 27kb\s.
I have 1500/256kbps connection.
Hope this helps... probably doesn't, but i do what i can 8)

Well, Apache is HTTP too, but there I get the full speed.

Are you testing it locally? Is the client able to download at 64kbp/s? Are you running any other Servers or P2P programs while running HFS?
There are so many things that may affect your upload speed ;D.
The maximum upload speed of my server is 128kbp/s, and it uploads at a maximum of 120kbp/s (Which is normal), so i dont think HFS is the cause.

it's quite strange, HFS has been tested for more than 10MB/s.
what speed do you get downloading from localhost?

I am having the same problem, my connection at the house is 2.5M / 22Meg.
local host downloads around 1 Meg /s but i only up load around 40-44K/s
Still running 2.2d would an upgrade maybe fix this ?

maybe you do them both twice and a dubble, or maybe its just one of the gui that lies. Ill bet on that its not hfs :-*

your case is not necessarily the same. Do a www.speedtest.net and you'll know the expected speed.

yes, 2.3 is still beta, but has support for higher speed.
