Title: Auto-hide empty folders
Post by: MarkV on April 03, 2007, 03:58:53 PM
Is there a way to exclude a specific subfolder from this rule? All subfolders show Hidden if empty[inherited] and I found no way to change that...

nope...
what if you put an hidden element in it?

I think that would not work in this case...

The subfolder I want to exclude is not a single one but contains a whole (very large) subfolder structure.
Placing a hidden element in it should solve the problem for that folder, yet the auto-hide attribute would be set for the whole structure below it. I'd have to place a hidden element into every folder in that tree, which is impossible to do.

ok
the idea to add a feature to block the propagation of the option is not good. it would imply to add it for every recursive feature. 5-6 new commands. the menu would get very long.

this problem may be overcome just by showing the anti-option only if the option is enabled on the parent. but it would require a specific programming for every feature. -.-
