ok i got it to work but im still a bit confused and would like some help.
1.) i have added a folder with a lot of files and some seem to download fine and some just give an error and ie7 just says it cannot display the page, (the files that dont work are in the same folder, i only have 1 folder that has all my files) could some one tell me why this is happning
2.) dose HFS support Upnp port mapping? i dont want to setup a static ip as this is on my laptop and im always moving.
3.) why is there a signin button on the site what is that used for, i dont have any passwords or accounts setup just yet
4.) how can i change the address to a easir address?, i right clicked on the house icon and hit new link but that seem that it dosent work, do i have to get a domian??

1. Do the files not working have some non-English characters? Like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian etc.?
2. UPnP? AFAIK, no. But you could use a software like Netsetman (http://www.netsetman.com/).
3. You can create accounts and restrict access. Then you need this button to login. Without accounts and passwords, it has no meaning.
4. There are many free services on the net providing a domain linking to your dynamic IP. HFS is even capable to update the IP for you. You should read the help documents and the Wiki.
