Total in/out are the number of bytes received/sent by HFS.
At the moment the default setting is to reset this numbers when HFS start.
It is an option, ok.
But what should be the default setting?

Saved by default of course ;D

I would like it to reset by default, then if it is needed by the user, you can enable it to save.

Saved by default and if the person doesnt like they can take it off just like you say.

Saved by default....... Simpleeeeee ;D

After 2wks using this save total in/out feature... I have to say I now agree. Save as Default.... It helps me keep track of my internet usage *which is important here in Australia*, and it can be used for bragging rights :P, on 128k i managed to clock up 3.54gb Total Out in these 2 wks. I now have 256k... lets see how we go now :o

@rejetto when i turn off hfs and the turnon it total-in and total-out is not save(start form 0)
