Hi people. Hi Rejetto. I would like to know how can I change or replace the HFS's tray icons because the originals don't match with my themes. I've tried with ResHacker but some items seems to be locked. Is there any other option?
I could make a set of icons and share it like a skin.
Thank you!

i guess that at the momment this only is possible if you re-compile the source with the changed icons(but this would need some delphi knowlodge)...

This is a strange post for the template forum?
-
maybe he thinked that the icons could be someway connected to the template...

Well, I don't know nothing about delphi, but... some programs are open, and it's very easy to change some resources. Can somebody help me with this? I want to give HFS's tray icons a brand new look. ;)

most icons are in resource, yes, but in a strange delphi format.
you can find them under rcdata -> tmainfrm -> 0 -> images

Ok, I can see that folder with ResHacker, but it's impossible to open it.
It says "the file has a non-standard resource layout... it has probably been compressed with and EXE compressor. :-[
Delphi is the program to open this exe? :o

it is compressed using UPX

Well, after several tests, I finally opened the EXE using PE Explorer. Then, I was able to modify some resources with the bitmaps I like, but the result was a mess in the background color of all the HFS's interface icons (nevermind if replacing tray icons succeded) and the tray icons turned to transparent, I mean no icon, just an empty space in the tray. The two icons I'm trying to replace are the default HFS tray icons.
Help? :-\

the only easy solution i know is to use delphi

I've 0% experience working with Delphi. I've tried to download the trial but it seems more complicated than I thought... would someone replace those icons for me? :'(
