hi
i thinks everything is working fine, i forward the port in my modem,
and when i do the Self Test i get the message "the test is succesfull. The server should be working fine". but when i go to my ip i come in the modem options.
so how to forward my ip to the HFS program and not to the modem options
hope somebody can help me

you cannot use your external IP.
other people can, YOU have to use your internal.

yeah i do but i still go in my modem login options.

you didn't understand me.
you, yourself, must not use your external address.
use HFS 2.1 and click on the "Browse" button to surf yourself.

if i click on browse automatic he goes to my external ip.
my friends ghetting an error when they go to my external adress

i told you to use HFS 2.1, i guess you are using HFS 2.0, aren't you?

if the self-test says it is working, it should be so.
try giving me your external address privately, i can make the test for you.
