Title: Terminal server and HFS
Post by: hlloyge on October 04, 2006, 07:02:20 AM
Hello all!

I have a problem: HFS server is on win2k server, and I connect (and logon) to it with Remote Desktop. When I start HFS, all icons displayed on web page are ugly 256 colours - server's connection can't be enhanced to 16bit or 24bit.
It looks ugly.
Is there an option for HFS to take out and display true color icons regardless of color depth of screen?

Thank you.

i have no idea on how this is related to HFS.
can't it be related solely to remote desktop?

When I start that server and login locally, on truecolor settings on desktop, it works very well.
I'm guessing HFS takes icons depending on windows settings (you know, if 256 colours, then take 256 colours ones)... I'll try to lower color depth on desktop when I log in, and see if it makes any difference.

Strange.
