Title: download/upload speed
Post by: duke on July 30, 2006, 09:50:12 PM
hi
i just installed hfs on my dedicated server everything works well except for the slow upload and download speed :(
my server is connected to a 100mbit port
when i download something through hfs i get only around 200kb/s
but if i download something over my ftp server i get around 700kb/s
(thats the max. my home connection can handle so perhaps it would get even faster)
all limits are set to disabled
is that a common issue with hfs ? or did i miss some settings to tune ?
thnks for any help

kb/s or kB/s?  What are your download and upload connection speeds?

Wasn't obvious so I thought I would clarify.  Anyway, what about a proxy?  Are you using one?

weird, it shouldn't happen.
are you sure isn't the client that slows down?
