Title: ip address keeps changeing

hi there cracking forum well impressed got a little problem my ip address which i give to friends and family to go to HFS server keeps changeing and i do not know myself as i can still view files etc thru my router address i am useing NEtgear modem all port and firewall permission has been done and it works perfect other than the ip changeing occasionally cheers kboxer

the answer is: subscribe a dynamic DNS service

You may also want to get a dynamic dns updater that monitors and updates your ip with your dns, all this can be found on http://www.dyndns.com/

It took me a while to get my head around it all 8O
