Title: Port - constant?

can i make the port a constant so that i don't have to constantly update the links i make? also can i have HFS save what files it is "hosting" and ther coments and options?

Sure.  Go through the menu items and make sure the save options are enabled.

if HFS changes port everytime, then your port 80 is busy.
this is not a problem, anyway, but to get what you want, you have to input a port manually.
choose one, and type it.

about the files, you have to "save file system"

since many people has this problem, and port 80 is one of the most used ones, HFS could have a secondary standard port, so there is double possibility that the port is fixed.
i would vote for port 4080
