for local testing you should not use your external address. use localhost.

When i go home to my computer in a few hours i wont be able to use my HFS since me and my roomate use a router. Portforward doesnt have my Linksys NR041 router listed so.  "Give your ISP a call and ask them what DNS servers to use." Why would I do that ? What i didnt copy it right when i wrote it down ?

Download the manual here:
ftp://ftp.networkeverywhere.com/manuals/nr041_ug.pdf
Find portforwarding or NAT or NAPT.

You owe me now 5 minutes of my time  ::)
