Title: Prevent users from uploading

In other words I want to disable upload compleatly.
I am using a real folder not a virtual one...

how can I do this?

just remove the section [upload], [upload-link].

Right Click on your upload folder in the HFS virtual file system.  Select Upload -> Upload for users -> and uncheck[/b] all listed there and you are Finished!  Uploads are now disabled for everybody.

Do Not remove the [upload] and [upload-link] sections from your template as Mara suggests.  You may want to activate uploads again sometime in the future.

There is no "upload folder"  in the virtual file system!

All I have is a "real" folder I added... nothing else...

Again: How do I disable people from uploading...
when they log in there is an upload link in the template.

EDIT.......

I restarted HFS and now there is no upload button on the http page...

strange!   Thanks and sorry for the mix up....

That's right!  Uploads are now disabled.  No upload button = no uploads.

the real folder is NEEDED for upload, but NOT ENOUGH
there is no upload, it's all ok
