Title: error: connection w/ the server terminated abnormally

I was just trying to transfer a small (370KB) .zip file from one PC to another on my LAN. Takes bout a second to dl that, but at 99% error pops up saying:

Microsoft Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer cannot download filename.zip from 192.168.0.100.
The connection with the server was terminted abnormally.

 :(

does it happen if you download it from another pc?
does it happen if you use another browser/client?
does it happen with other small files? and what about big ones?
