There has been quite a few posts lately about IP addresses and which ones to use when configuring HFS and router. Here is a small (7.7KB) freeware utility that will quickly answer those questions for you.

I have been using this program to for about 2 years or so and it is invaluable. A great suggestion for those on a LAN or Wireless to resolve the their true address. I also use Tcpview. TCPView for NT/2000/XP/9x

Sysinternals - www.sysinternals.com which I couldn't do without as well. It's freeware on said site. And Active Ports v1.4 which I think may no long be available from ntutility.com. Nice work maverick!

Helpful utilities are always welcomed.
If you like Active Ports, try Current Ports v1.7[/u] (freeware). Gives you more information and has more options. Much better than Active Ports in my opinion.
