Title: regarding Hammering and Spamming server

is there a way to prevent that?
say if some user hammers the server... is there an automatic function to ban him/her?

they are not users. they are not registered.
this forum is open, and this is a serious problem.
i never asked for people to register.
the problem is that IP changes, always, like it is generated by zombies, so it is useless to ban addresses.

I do agree with ring, i also have a lot of trouble with these people. I think it are search engines, but i'm nog sure.

Afcourse banning doesn't always work, but it would be better then nothing.

i have same prob... sometimes the ip redirect to ebay, www.maybefind.com/ip1.cgi..

plz help me to prevent this...
