i would like to know how i would make it to where people could stream music from my hfs server, instead of downloading it

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but I used to be able to click on a mp3 file and it would automatically start playing while downloading.  Now it prompts me to download it before I can play it.  There is a setting in HFS under Other Options and then Open directly in browser...  In there you can add ;*.mp3 at the end and allow mp3's to automatically start playing once clicked.  Again...not sure if this is what you were looking for.

wow...i cant believe someone replied to this...i posted it over 5 months ago, i have alredy figured what u have said out about 3 months ago, but thank you for your suggestion anyway....

That doesn't work here with.  Still get the download dialog first.  However playing streamed music from m3u playlists works perfectly.

You have to make sure that you enter in the extension properly in the dialog box for it to work properly.  Such as *.jpg;*.mp3   You have to use the semi-colon as the seperator.  If you don't you will still get prompted.  Just an FYI.
