Is there a way to change the favicon? I'm usually not so stupid... but I can't seem to find where this would be done.
Thanks!

Add your custom favicon to the root of the VFS and name it favicon.ico. You can hide it if you want.
Browsers always search for /favicon.ico and display it. If you don't know how to create one, search the web.

Hi Mark!
Thanks for the reply.
I put a favicon.ico in the root of the VFS, and hid it. For some reason though, it's still showing the HFS stock .ico. I tried it hidden and unhidden.
Now, this is the first day I've seen this program, so maybe I'm missing something.
I will say this though: this proggie freaking rocks.
Thanks again.

Ok Well...
As it turns out... the favicon can be seen from all machines except mine, lol...
Any clues as to why that would be? I was going nuts there for a little while.
Tanks!

Maybe your browser cached the old one. Empty your browser cache and try again. That should work...

Well I thought that, so I loaded it up in a browser i never use *cough*IE*cough*, and got the same result.
Oh well just an oddity and certainly nothing important.
Thanks again for your responses.

Simple tutorial for easy favicon.ico usage:
1) goto: http://www.chami.com/html-kit/services/favicon/
Note:A free easy image upload to favicon converter not a plug for the site btw (i use it because it's idiot proof lol I am not affilated in any way)
2) Browse and upload your desired image to the site and after it converts you will download it as a .zip file.
3) Unzip favicon.ico and place in root of (same exact) folder with the hfs.exe
4) Drag your new favicon.ico file into Virtual File Tree on left side of HFS GUI then right click on it and scroll to bottom of pop-up menu and click/check the HIDE option
5) Edit / Insert text into template (REMEMBER:best to backup ur orignal file if you mess up) as follows:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico">
NOTE: insert the above text between <head> ......... </head>
6)Save your template and apply in EXPERT MODE .....your done unless u want to repeat for each page....then just paste the 'link code' above as seen above into <head> tags as stated in step 5
(Your done save file settings also to registry or hfs.ini your choice...I also use a robots.txt for my server but that is for another time to explain....I like to be spider n browser compliant ;) )

PS: Keep up the GREAT work rejetto this File Server beats up most of the commerical crap out there and takes names if u know how to work it  :D
