Ok heres whats going on I started HFS and it runs for awile then somehow its gone. Just like someone turn it off. Is there a fix?

Never seen this problem with HFS, but I have with others.  It could be that another program is interferring with it in some way.

Close all other programs, including taskbar-only apps that are not absolutely necessary.  (Leave your Firewall and AV running if you have them.  Those ARE necessary)

See if that helps at all.  It could be a service, but that opens a big can o' worms you don't want to get into.

Only other suggestion is to re-download it (beta10) and start from scratch.  

Next step would be an OS reload, but that depends on how important HFS is to ya.  ;)

Make sure any limits are disabled. There is a known problem where limits will cause HFS to shutdown without any prompts in a period of time.

you should add some detail to your description:
what version are you using?
when the problem comes up, is HFS still running?
what's the state of the ON/OFF button?
does it happen at every use?

Im using 2 beta 10 and I have it running for a few hours with some downloads going to friends and then it's gone. Installed new set back up and then the same thing happens. Im running sp-2
