Title: login = download; guest = view?
Post by: poipo on November 19, 2004, 04:13:48 PM
Is there a way to allow guest to view what in the shared folder but not download it until they log in?  I would think that would be quite useful.  If there is a way please let me know.  Thanks :D

no. a good idea for a feature for next beta. Read-only/DL/upload access permissions.

uncheck "list protected files only for allowed users" from menu/virtual file system
then right click on a file, open "access for users" menu, select the user what you want to share with.

sorry for my bad english

yeah I am hosting my music library so that would be a pain to set access for each individual file.  i appreciate this project though, very nice server you made rej.  keep up the good work bud.

don't ask such things on the forum
and don't use this forum as a place where to share files, legal or not
