Post by: WMRomik on July 21, 2004, 02:36:48 PM
Hello!
First thanks Massimo for your great job!

After some times using this great software i decided to make my own template. It looks like a damn.to website design and uses images from hidden virtual directory.

Also i make my HFS running like a service.

What do you think about my template?

Just any additional lines in CSS.

Thanks for your opinion.

You are welcome... But I am just wondering...
Are you able to use CSS to add the bottom line into the template?

Mr. Anon
Yes. You're right with CSS I can't but with javascript I can do it.
BTW <hr> tag will looking fine too.
I'm not web developer and I have not enough times to work on it.

And of course i will share this template but when i make code more optimized and workable with all most popular browsers. IE, Opera, Mozilla.
Now comments not work with Mozilla.

Hello!
Do You remember me?

So I was finished tonight my template and you may download its.

New Screenshot (http://www.audiodom.ru/hfs/hfs_damn_template_screen.jpg) Now w/o images.

Just Template (http://www.audiodom.ru/hfs/HFS_damn_Template_by_brooks_2.0_beta23.zip) .tpl file

System Service Loader for HFS (http://www.audiodom.ru/hfs/HFS2a20SysServiceLoader.zip) All files from this zip must be the same directory with hfs.exe

Now damn.to template looking the same in all modern browsers but little bugs still there. I thing somebody can make it 100% compatible.

And thank you very match for your support!

The Damn template has a nice layout to it, but I'm having trouble with the comments.

On a regular page, the comment text is never refreshed.  The text for the first item that has a comment is used as the text for all comments.    Also, you might want to reconsider using the same icon for both comments and the Add/Remove Progress Frame link on the Upload page.

Very nice template...
But I would try to keep low on Javascript to improve compatibility with webfilters etc.

Comments and Progress Frame is information. I think.

All of this FIXED. Thank You for your feedback!

Title: Problem with Damn.to Template
Post by: IOStorm on July 13, 2005, 01:47:42 PM
This template is awesome, but I noticed a problem.  It seems to die on any folder or filename containing a ' character.  You just can't change to a directory such as "CD's".  It also sometimes pops up an error when changing to a directory that contains a subdirectory or file with a ' character.

I can see in the template where the problem lies, or at least an example of it such as:

<tr class="mout" onmouseover="this.className='mover'" onmouseout="this.className='mout'" onclick="location.href='%item-url%'">

When clicking on a directory named CD's, that code will result in something such as: 'CD's', which makes the page choke.

I'm not very familiar with scripting though, so I don't know how to change this to accept ' as a possibility in a file name.
