First, I love the program... this program is long overdue.
Second, I think it would be great if the user could right click on any particular download and throttle its speed. For instance, I could right click on a particular download and place a speed limit of 10kb/s on that one file, and then I could right click another file and make it go faster.
Is this a possibility?

Interesting... would be nice if this could be in v2.
-
yes, i thought for long on this feature

A workaround if you would like to see this feature enabled right now is to use netlimiter. Under the hfs.exe tab (when app is running) you can limit the connections it has made to different IP addresses.
-
I use netlimiter too.
I think it is the best program if u want to do this.
I just love it.
The newest version is 1.25.

that program looks great!
i would love to see a freeware alternative ;)
about the HFS speed limiter, it make no sense to be connection-based. because it is easy to break connection and restart download with no limit.
the limit shall be address-based or account-based.

Hi!
I wolud suggest a new featuer. I think lot of people use dinamic
domain services ( cjb.com, no-ip.com, etc).
I think it would be great if in HFS u could enabe an option
which will cause that if u choose COPY URL then it would
copy a predefined domain in the url.
I mean now it "makes" this: http://111.222.121.121/file.ext
and u could choose to set an url and after that it would "make"
this: http://dinamic.no-ip.com/file.ext
I hope u understand my complicated and baad english.

Well, I believe that you can do it in the current version -
just go to the menu->IP-address->custom-IP and enter for example: dinamic.no-ip.com
That will make HFS assign this domain for all files. Also "copy URL" works with it... :)

yes, and it is also written in the FAQ page ;)

Cool program, very nice.
what I have not found, and that it is necessary to add:
+do files translation on other languages
+possibility to add to virtual folder merging with other folder
-uncomfortably swing much files, mini FTP has solved this
problem ;)
-impossible move files above or below, does not move slider
-base (file system) is not cached, options Auto-load VFS and
Auto-save
VFS necessary to set as option by default
-problems with show of the icon when loading the base (incorrect
show)
-error messages is removed in the manner of windows that very
uncomfortably, better do detailed statistics
